There are changes afoot in the Royal Reading Room. When I first floated the idea of this online book club, I got a huge response of interest. I created two clubs to try to accommodate everyone. What I’m finding as the year progresses is that while interest May remain high, the ability to participate is waning. The advent of summer and further reopening of society in general will also make attendance spotty for the foreseeable future. Therefore, we are reducing to a single book each month. The Royal Reading Room selection for May is Moonglow, by Michael Chabon. We will meet on Sunday, May 23 at 7:00pm EST. I hope by combining forces, we will ensure a likely discussion.
